Valle Las Trancas

Valle Las Trancas is a beautiful wooded valley at the base of the Chillán Volcano. Las Trancas itself is a small, unspoiled village, and it's the last village before your reach the ski resort of Nevados de Chillán.

Las Trancas is on the main road from Chillán to Nevados de Chillán. It's 65km from Chillán, and just 8km to the ski resort. The village has a number of bars, restaurants and small supermarkets. Most people stay in Las Trancas, in the cosy cabins in the woods.
